Get Started: Student Lab Setup

Project Materials

In the project, you will need to get remote control of Joe's business PC called "JoesGaragePC". You will use the project template provided to record your findings. The following are the materials you need to complete the project.

1. The project template for you to document your findings. Click here to download the template.
2. Initialize-Udacity.CYBERND01.LabVM1.ps1 to install the project virtual PC called "JoesGaragePC". Click here to download and unzip it when the download is completed.
3. Username and password to log in JoesGaragePC

• Username: JoesAuto
• Password: @UdacityLearning#1

1. Set up the project virtual PC, "JoesGaragePC". Follow the instructions below to set it up. You will need Initialize-Udacity.CYBERND01.LabVM1.ps1, plus the username and password provided to complete the setup.

Before installation, please make sure you have completed all the items listed below. If you have met the prerequisites, please follow these instructions: Setup Student LAB
to set up the JoesGaragePC and connect to the machine.

Note: the setup process may take about 30 min to finish. Please be patient and have fun.

IMPORTANT: Please always remember to shut down ALL of the virtual machines when not in use to avoid charges! The status of ALL virtual machines should be stopped!
